Tung‑ting Mountain of Lugu Township of Taiwan is surrounded by misty clouds all year round.  Due to its elevation, it has a cool, temperate climate, ideal for growing teas and thus accumulating rich traditions for teamaking. 
The area has since been recognized as one of the best terroirs for teas in Taiwan and the home to many worldclass Oolong teas. 
Our brand took its root here in 1975. We began with just one tea farmer and their tea garden, then gradually grew into a corporate‑sized business, winning a good reputation in the region.

Our brand name, Shian Piin Tea（仙品茗茶）, means “Teas that elevate you to the cloud nine”. 
The Mandarin name evokes local audience well-known folklore that illustrates carefree immortals venturing around the heavens and earth. 
Such a notion encapsulates our philosophy for tea, as we believe that teas are best enjoyed with friends during relaxing conversations. 
We hope every cup of our brew would bring you a heavenly experience and lead you to blissful comfort.

Building upon our heritage, in recent years, we have devoted ourselves to taking our teas to another level by introducing green agriculture. 
We applied non‑pesticide management and organic farming, and all products have passed a total of 368 SGS pesticide residue testing and received ISO9001 and ISO22000/HACCP food safety certifications. 
The transformation was not easy, but we were determined. We want to offer teas that nourish not just the souls but also the bodies of their drinkers.
